Classroom Communications Welcome

The key idea to remember when working with your children outside the classroom is to involve them in the daily activities of life. Here are some ideas:

-Read your children books, comic strips, even the newspaper

-Talk to your children about grocery shopping (i.e. what are the names of the items you are buying, how much do they cost, let them add number to figure out how much you are spending.)

-Cooking and baking are great opportunities for your children to experience how ingredients interact, as well as helping to gain visual understandings of measure and amounts.
